Grow Wild: The Seeds Have Arrived

What is Grow Wild?

Grow Wild is the UK’s biggest-ever wild flower campaign, bringing people together to transform local spaces with native, pollinator-friendly wild flowers and plants. Run by the Big Lottery Fund and the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, Grow Wild aims to encourage local people to spruce up public spaces with beautiful wild flowers.

What's in the box?

Grow Wild want to engage as many people as possible and have thousands of seed kits available for free. They contain: a getting started guide, five packets of their specially-selected UK native wild flowers, site markers, a DIY bee house and two-for-one entry vouchers for RBG Kew.

This year the flagship city for England is shared between our very own Manchester and Liverpool. All the more reason for us to get involved with Grow Wild! Last year Princess Parkway was transformed into a beautiful area, and hopefully we can achieve the same across the city this year.

Our Division

DDAR were allocated around 70 packs of seeds, and we gave them out to the division to encourage them to get growing. They went down really well with the team and we can't wait to see how they get on. Staff will be taking lots of photos of their creations, so we will keep you updated in due course.
